At Rare Vintage, we offer a full broking service. Most of our broking list is available live through our website inclusive of all Australian taxes. As soon as your order is processed and payment confirmed the stock is immediately secured for you.
As brokers, rather than stockholders, we are not beholden to the traditional rules of many wine merchants, allowing us to focus on our customers’ needs and wants rather than ensuring stock turnover. This allows us to offer wines based on impartial merit, at the best possible prices, by removing the ensuing costs of stockholding and storage.
If there is a specific wine that you are searching for that is not listed, please reach out to us and we can assist with sourcing wines from offline sources in our network.
If you are placing an order with a specific date in mind, please speak to us before confirmation, we will be able to offer advice.
Stock Consolidation
All confirmed orders are shipped from our suppliers to our bonded warehouses for inspection. We allow up to 30 days for this to occur.
Please note during summer (in Europe) if we are not able to secure a refrigerated truck for the shipment, we will push back scheduled collections. Ensuring the integrity of the wine you receive is of utmost importance to us! Other exceptions may occur to delay delivery, if so you will be updated.
All wines are checked upon arrival by an expert team and any conditions if noted, are flagged. If you would like a full ‘Condition Report’ of your stock before shipment or during storage this can be arranged for $35+GST per individual listing.

Delivery
We offer two options for onward shipping to your door.
Both are fully insured to the value of the wine & all customs paperwork and clearance is handled by us.
Via Sea – We consolidate orders and ship to Australia via climate-controlled reefer and then ship onward via Anonymous Freight to your delivery address. We estimate 12–18 weeks for delivery, we can confirm when the next shipment will be leaving for Australia prior to ordering.
Air Freight – This is the most popular option for our customers. We ship directly from our warehouse hub in Europe or Hong Kong to your delivery address via DHL Worldwide Express. Estimated delivery time is 3–5 working days.
