The 2004 is one of the most refined vintages of recent years. Bright, tense and mineral with notes of citrus, apple and toast. Elegant rather than powerful, showing remarkable focus and length.

Critic Notes:

• Galloni – 97+: crystalline precision, nuance, brightness and lift.

• Suckling – 96: elegant, composed, perfectly proportioned.

• Parker – 94: medium to full, vinous, sweet core of fruit.

• Jancis Robinson – 18/20: delicate nose, sharp and crisp, expanding finish.

Drinking beautifully now and will age comfortably into the 2030s.
