Rare Vintage will always endeavor to deliver wine to buyers in as little time as possible. Remote areas may take slightly longer for obvious logistical reasons.
We offer two options for onward shipping to your door. Both are fully insured to the value of the wine & all customs paperwork and clearance is handled by us.
Via Sea (free for orders over $1000, otherwise $100 per order) – we consolidate orders and ship to Australia via climate-controlled container and then ship onward via specialist wine courier Anonymous Freight to your delivery address (in some rural locations we may have to use a different courier which we will advise). We estimate 16-20 weeks from placement of order for delivery, we can confirm when the next shipment will be leaving for Australia prior to ordering.
Air Freight – Our most popular shipping method. We dispatch via UPS or DHL Worldwide Express from our warehouse hub in Europe or Hong Kong, with delivery in 4-6 weeks from order placement to allow for stock inspection. Free express shipping is available on orders over $4,275 (up to 9kg), $8,550 (up to 18kg), or $12,825 (up to 27kg).
Orders below these thresholds are charged at $80 per kg, and shipments over 27kg will be quoted separately..
Once an order has been dispatched to your nominated delivery address, any changes to that destination or redirect requests made by the customer are the responsibility of the customer and not of Rare Vintage.
Returns
Every care has been taken to ensure that the wine is in perfect condition prior to onward shipping to your address. All shipments are fully insured.
We understand that regardless of the guaranteed provenance and storage, and utmost care we give to all our wines, there may be occasions where a return is required due to circumstances beyond our direct control.
Returns are only permitted if the Goods were delivered to the Customer incorrectly (these should be reported to Rare Vintage within 3 working days of delivery). Authorised returns must be arranged in advance to allow sufficient time for collection documentation to be raised. The returned goods must be the same goods as those supplied, no substitutions are permitted. Goods must be returned in exactly the same condition as they were supplied.
