Provenance Guarantee
We acquire our unparalleled stock of fine and rare wine from reputable wholesalers, top importers, brokers as well as directly from ex-Domaine/Chateau stock, but only when provenance can be verified by us.
The following applies to all wines listed for sale on Rare Vintage
1 – Original Packaging/Case
2 – Wine level in each bottle is at the base of the neck or better and consistent across the case
3 – The wine colour is correct
4 – There are no signs of leakage or pushed out corks
5 – The labels are clean, undamaged and properly attached
6 – The capsules are not ripped and have not been damaged or tampered with
Bottles are carefully inspected at warehouses in the UK, France and Hong Kong prior to shipment to Australia. All wine is transported under ideal conditions to our facility.
In some cases, we will test representative bottles to ensure optimal condition. As a result, we guarantee the provenance of all wines that we sell.
If you open a wine purchased from us within three months of the delivery date and the wine reveals signs of damage due to improper storage or transport, we ask that you re-cork the bottle with the remaining wine inside and contact us immediately.
European Imports from Rare & Vintage Wines
Rare & Vintage takes great pride in offering our customers the service of sourcing highly sought-after wines directly from Europe. Over the years, we have built strong relationships with trusted sources who consistently deliver as promised.
All wines listed for sale on Rare Vintage are either sold directly from the estate/winery or have been stored in optimal bonded warehouses which are climate controlled providing perfect provenance.
If you we are sourcing wines upon request from offline sources, for example private cellars, you will be advised of any condition notes (e.g. scuffed labels etc) prior to purchase.
