Jacques Selosse Millésime 2013 Extra-Brut. As always, quantities are vanishingly small, and we have just three bottles available, shipped direct from the domaine.

Selosse’s vintage bottlings are wines of reflection and intensity. Each vintage is handled individually, the base wine aged in oak, then matured for years on lees before disgorgement. The 2013 delivers extraordinary precision and depth orchard fruit, citrus rind, roasted nuts, and chalky grip with an energy that unfurls slowly in the glass.

There are few wines in Champagne that offer this combination of power, transparency and vinous personality.

The 2013 is still tightly coiled but already has the hallmarks of a great Selosse vintage deeply layered, textural, and unmistakably his.
